Another Slag Heap

A visit to Ulverston with R to find  some tricky puzzle geocaches that we are pleased to have solved. Found a new footpath along side the old sea wall , with a good view of the slag heap from former ironworks at the end of the old canal.  Now land owned by Glaxo Smith Klyne and United Utilities.  Satellite view at map pin is interesting showing the slag and the current industrial works.
