Amongst the bluebells

Claire came to cut my hair, leaving a carpet of fine white hair on the carpet.

Annette arrived to clean, but she was still downstairs when Rachel arrived early for our trip to Gold Island.

Rachel has not been to my house before, but had to sit in the lounge and look at a carpet of hair while I found my socks. (I would have been ready on time....)

We had a great hour on the island. Rachel wanted to learn how to use her iPhone camera and she was delighted with the results (as was I).

The bluebells still look marvellous. I liked this fern unfolding with the bluebells and garlic in the background.

Home for a quick lunch before four of Mum's embroidery friends arrived to choose some things from her stash. It's not easy to watch and I fear it may be even more difficult on Saturday when it is strangers at the craft sale in Bellingham. I need to be brave!

I have managed to edit today's picture on the Mac. I'm slowly learning the new commands.
