Newcastle Downunder

Blackman's

An interrupted work day today.  I woke up early and didn't bother trying to go back to sleep so I took the hounds early down to Blackman's Oval which was where the blip was taken yesterday.  I know my blips are an interesting as the bottom of a shoe box at the moment.  At the North Western end, it has a large play area for kids and there are stone sculptures of animals dotted through the trees.  The one that Pi is sniffing is a Goanna.

I had to then take my brother to his GP as he needed a script for blood thinners which they forgot to send him home with from the hospital.  I am grateful he is a pretty healthy fit guy and so far there has been no ill effects.  Back to do some more work, feed the invalids and then take him to rehab.  Hooray.  I think he is now pretty much on track towards his recovery.  59, what aids are you using at the moment, he is still on Canadian crutches.  I am having lunch with G & G tomorrow both of whom have had hip replacements so I can bounch my questions off them.

Anyhoo, home again more work, put roast lamb on, feed the invalids and now it is time for bed.  I hope you will excuse me but I am going to catch up on your journals tomorrow.
