Stranded

No photos yesterday - it was far too bumpy to get the horizon straight or the camera to focus, so we settled for quite a short hop from Leverburgh on Harris to Loch Maddy on North Uist. Today however we more than made up for that with a lovely sail right along the eastern coast of the Hebrides, stopping off at Vatersay. The beaches and the machair were stunningly beautiful so we were keen to go ashore to explore. The pier is not currently connected to the land so anyone dropped off there won't be going too far!
