Nettles

We had a scheduled power outage today.  The power went off at 9.10.

So we worked in the garden again.

Yet more nettle clearing on the ditch for me.  W did some mowing (battery powered) and then some digging.

When the power came back on (wter supply from our well requires an electric pump) he added water to this bucket - nettle "soup" is apparently a highly nutritious plant food.

In the afternoon I went into New Ross for a few essential supplies.  And in the evening it was band practice.
