Lilac

Today did not go as planned.  Natalie was finally coming over to help with the apartment, after months of ill health and a concussion, but she texted to say that she'd awakened with a cold and didn't want to pass it on so she wouldn't come.  That was a disappointment, as there are a number of things she could have helped me get done, but perhaps next week.

In my memory, these bushes were rhododendrons, but when I went out to photograph them today I realized they were lilac.  There is a long row of big lilac bushes along one side of the building I live in.  The color was gorgeous.

Back to dialysis tomorrow, then to do a grocery pick-up.  Lex and I will probably get together on Friday, as it's my birthday. Another year more ancient.
