Sun and shadow

After several days of clouds and periodic rain, the sun came out this afternoon. It's still chilly but the clouds are great. I'm sitting outside on my back steps enjoying the weather. 
This week is teacher appreciation week and the teachers and staff get to do whacky things all week and we let the kids guess what's going on. Monday was temporary tattoos. Tuesday was anything but a cup day. I brought my glass measuring cup to drink out of. Amy brought a giant jar and Kayti brought a cowboy boot which she put her water bottle in. There were other fun things and the kids were baffled. Today was dress like Seth day. Seth is our custodian and wears tennis shoes, funny socks, cargo shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. We got photos, so as soon as I get one, I'll make it an extra. It was pretty hilarious. Tomorrow is dress in black and Friday is socks with sandals, which sounds a pretty boring way to finish the week. Anyway it's pretty fun as we wind down our year.
