May Blossom (Hawthorn)

Ner cast a clout till May be out. ( to the uninitiated Do not start casting off garments as it can sometimes be cold. ie in olden times your vest) 

The lane we walk down from the garage to the bus stop is festooned with lots of blossoming Hawthorn bushes and other blossom trees. It's a lovely walk there are fields full of horses as far as the eye can see at one side of the lane, I think there must be a stables nearby there are so many.

We took the car over today so fingers crossed all will go well.

On the way home we called in at the butchers in Garforth and got a couple of pork pies, they were really nice and tasty, not like some you get these days the ones my mum used to say had spam in them, but really tasty meat.

Didn't get home till 1pm so late lunch, and time just flew by.

This morning it was nice and sunny and quite warm but by mid afternoon it was really cold, in fact the heating came on.
