Mother Mary comes to me

It was a bit of emotional day for me. Everyday i visit one of our visitors who came to the palliative daycare center once in a week. Because of his detoriating health and coming closer to the ned he had to be admitted on the palliative care unit. I did visit him this morning , but had to interrupt my stay as the doctor had a talk with him cocerning the end of life. He has lots of pain and to me he spoke allready about the possibility for euthanasia. So after the doctor left i came in and it has somehow been heavy for him. He has to make a choice wether he wants to be brought in deep sleep or euthanasia. So i left as he wanted to be alone , but it felt somehow as i had to make such a choice myself. A verry strange feeling. It took some time till the feeling went away.
