Flying-leap

Soft glow....

...enhancing the beauty of an aging magnolia leaf, a little moisture shimmers along the top of the leaf as it basks gently, sun kissed.

It was the awakening of the morning, a rich orange glow out east as the sun rose while I was opening the curtains about 7am. A flutter of birds high in the trees chirping excitedly for the new day. A gentle breeze drifted through the garden then faded away leaving a calm sunny day while the lawn glistened with dew drops, I smiled as I took a cuppa out into the cold, a lovely way to start my day.

Mum and I enjoyed catching up over lunch before our grocery shop. We chatted over a cuppa about changing times, both of us have friends moving away. Mum's friend is moving to another small town not too far away while my friend has moved to Australia which is a bit further away. I'll be thankful to be able to video call her and I can take mum to visit her friend, perhaps I'll pop out and do some photography while they have a chat.

Another autumn shot, it will be all over soon so just a few to share this week.

Happy Wednesday everyone :)
