The Edge of the Wold

This should have been a blip from Sunbiggin Tarn where I spent most of the day, our second visit this year to assess the health of the small marl lake. But we were there during the flat light time of the day, and the green veined whites and damselflies were evading capture. So here is a familiar view across the Kent estuary as Gus and I went for our evening walk.

A day in the fresh air, pootling about in a boat was a tonic to the system, but I must say I am tired now. So I shall keep today's entry short.

ps I did try to turn off comments, but was too late and would have had to reload the blip with comments off - too much of a faff.
