Tuesday: Clematis
Another chilly day, we were up early thanks to bright sunshine!
Had a long chat with my daughter who was taking Cousin Idris for his morning walk, it was a very chilly morning for them too :-(
Coolness was perfect for my gardening job this morning, started pulling up raspberry runners from the deep bed between the greenhouse and our back wall. Some damson runners too and assorted plants. Only clearing half of the bed today, hoping to get raspberries from the other half in a few weeks time :-) This half will hopefully have courgette and greens growing in it, I’ve covered the cleared half to deter cats from digging there …
Planted a dark purple aquilegia and a clump of red flowers whose name I can’t remember (look at plant label tomorrow!!).
Today’s Clematis is the one growing in the twisted hazel , I love the combination of colours on the petals and the striking centre :-))
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
