Helena Handbasket

Back once again for more jollity. This mohican-sporting morris dancer always attracts my camera, but this year I was appreciating his politics. His side don't use wooden sticks, they use sawn-off scaffold poles which they drop on the cobbles at the end of their dance. The first extra is the band from the same side. We were interested by the boxless fiddle.
We saw dancers in clogs and also this side in masks (extras 2&3) who were apparently re-enacting a battle between Celts and Romans. I couldn't help feeling that their front person (extra 4) who explained all this looked remarkably like Cacofonix.
