After a relative late night with a couple of beers at Loopfest, I wasn't really expecting great shakes from this morning's 10K. That probably made me start off at a sensible pace that, thanks to marathon conditioning, I managed to hold for the whole race down into Shrewsbury from Upton Magna, finishing a whole minute quicker than last year.

Race and obligatory medal photo done, I met up with Owen and Louisa to go and get coffee and scran in town before heading down towards the library for the Orchestra of Objects* as part of Loopfest. We wandered back towards the car, sort of stopping to hear The Raging Mabels sound checking at Ashley's -I'm claiming it for day 3. Louisa then met up with Mirelle for a Loopfest day proper (they apparently had a great time) whilst Owen and me headed home to play an array of strange games in the garden and watch Super Mario Brothers.
