A day in the life

Swinecold

The expression is heard a lot these days, maybe reinforced by a "bloody" in front of it. I think it's only used in Sweden, we say "Svinkallt" about the kind of weather we're having, even in the sun it's icy cold. Oh well, apparently we need to complain about something we can't control when the world is behaving as it is.

Maybe I feel the cold a bit more since I had my hair cut short for the summer, nice to get rid of the flaxy, thin hair but...chilly.

The blip shows the latest reclaimed part of the garden, only the Japanese tree was sticking up through the weeds earlier. Some flowers planted last year has died. The spot was originally thought of as the "Japanese garden", surrounding the tree, but the flowers I bought were too small and couldn't compete with the weeds. Just now, I don't really know how to behave with it. Time will tell.
