Gothic .
About 11am we met up with friends at Emmerson Green on the outskirts of Bristol (England, UK) to do a 20 mile cycle ride into Bristol and alongside the Avon Gorge.
We cycled through industrial estates and wasn't inspired to photograph anything until we approached St Vincent Works Building (1891AD) on Silverthorne Lane. It looks like a Gothic Castle! It started like manufacturing corrugated buildings which was exported to settlers in Australia amonst other things. It's now a listed building and currently used by Scriptology.
After passing the Avon Rowing Club we arrived at Hanham Mills where we had a cuppa at The Chequers Inn alongside The Old Lock and Weir. We were back at the car by 2pm. A lovely day out in the sunshine but not a ride I'd do again as not too scenic!
Home by 3.30pm we did some gardening and then sat on our rear deck enjoying the sun.
