First Time

Not that I've blipped this view on the way to football but that I've ended up in A&E with a football injury. Turned too quickly and fell over onto my shoulder. Immediately obvious there was something wrong - I could feel a large lump under the skin. At A&E they determined it wasn't dislocated - my first thought - confirmed with X-rays that showed it was a text book AC joint injury. Sent home with arm in a sling - L had come to take me home, relieving team-mate I who had very kindly taken me to hospital and then waited with me. Apparently it will be painful for a week or two and then take 6-12 weeks to recover. We'll have to see! 
I did score one before the injury - certain to be my last goal for a while, sadly.
