Bergen Bryggen
A chilly day in Bergen, but the sun was trying its best to shine, and the temperature was perfect for a brisk walk into the center of town from the ship.
This is a view of the famous Bryggen -- the old warehouse buildings started by the Hanseatic League. They are now a Unesco World Cultural Heritage site, and definitely a major highlight of this Norwegian town.
We strolled through the cobbled streets and narrow lanes, and enjoyed wandering through the fish market with lots of beautiful fresh seafood on offer. Not so thrilled to see whale meat for sale, though.
