BMW's Best?

BiL Gerhard has just bought his neighbour's BMW i3 electric car, probably one of the last before production ended in August 2022. The neighbour works for BMW and changes his cars every 1-2 years.

I don't remember which battery size his model has, but it's not the biggest. Here he is charging it on one of our normal house sockets.

With its full carbon fibre body on an aluminium chassis, it was unique, receiving a very good press and seemingly highly praised by its owners. However the car was expensive & relatively complicated to build and production stopped after 8 years and 250,000 units.
