On my allotment

I planted a rose about 3 years ago. I have to cut it back savagely to keep it in its space, but it never minds, and produces hundreds of these exquisite flowers. Which of course attracts pollinators who then go on to my vegetable and fruit flowers. You will see a couple of aphids, I’m hoping my bird visitors will deal with them. Talking of visitors, I have evidence, in the form of a ‘poo pit’ that a badger is visiting my plot. Luckily it doesn’t seem to want to dig anything up, yet. I spent bank holiday Monday afternoon working at the plot, it was so cold! I kept adding layers. In the morning I walked right around the harbourside with a friend who recently moved down there. I didn’t take a single photo. Even though I went past the wildlife area I showed on Saturday, and it was looking even more beautiful in the morning sunshine. I remember mentioning before that I have a friend who keeps walking if I stop to think about, then take a blip. Well this is her:-))
