Safely Here!

Relaxed start to the day, last few jobs, packed, and off, a couple of hours later than planned. Very pleasant stop for a picnic lunch in the park in Beja, and then to IKEA and associated shopping centre for a few bits we needed.

The new bridge over to Faro Island is now operational, and a whole new system to get off and onto the Island - more modern, but not near as quirky -  same with Aeromar, our normal little hotel, slowly modernising, but loved its old fahioned air... the new modern toilet in our room looks posh, but has a lid that won't stay up on its own - very awkward.

Anyway, main point of all this, Julia and family have safely arrived, and I was too excited to see them so that I forgot all about a photo. Fed Eden raspberries in the bath and Mike held Sofía, while Julia and Tom had their supper, and now, hopefully, they are all asleep, and us too, as soon as I've had a hot bath...

Gratefuls:

- the anticipation of a bath, such a luxury
