Ilkley Carnival

We were asked on Wednesday last week if we'd be able to photograph the Ilkley Carnival as official photographers.  We agreed and spent six hours taking photos of the parade and event today.

We first off watched the formation before the parade, then went to the end of The Grove to have the parade come straight towards us.  Then we raced it down to the showground and managed to catch half the parade again.

Hot dog for lunch, followed by some doughnuts and waffles and we spent the rest of the day seeing what we could find amongst the fairground and events.  We had a great day, Tim took almost 2000 photos and Sharon nearly 700.  It's going to be fun trying to sort out the good stuff from the junk!
