Have Camera Will Travel

By cathy1947

Typical house.

After a late breakfast we drove to Elmley Castle ( no castle remains today) to start our walk up Bredon Hill.
On the summit is a building (3rd) called Parsons Folly built in the 18th century as a summer house for a local squire. Boy it was windy up there but the view’s were fantastic We then came across this unusual boulder that looks like an elephant (2nd)and aptly named Elephant Rock.
Extra (1) just a selection of flora taken on the walk.
After our picnic lunch we headed back down the hill to the village to partake in a little drinky at the Queen Elizabeth.
Walk completed 7miles. Having a rest tomorrow
