Hi-de-hi!
Ho-de-ho!
Maplins holiday camp in full swing this morning with another trainload of campers arriving!
The last day of the 'Classic Comedies' weekend on the railway. I decided to go over to Weybourne to see what was happening, especially after we cut short our visit on Saturday. A lot quieter but perhaps to be expected as, despite the sunshine, it was very cold. I watched the sketch from the Hi-de-hi team which largely consisted of Mr Fairbrother giving a dull speech followed by Ted and Peggy holding Knobbly Knees and Best Sunglasses competitions; I managed to avoid being hauled up on stage for both of them! The platoon from 'Dad's Army' were patrolling the station and greeting every train that arrived; all good fun.
I've added a few shots of the 'goings on' as an extra; the main shot is the 'Maplins Holiday Special' arriving at the station.
