Entering Janet's Foss

We have returned to the Lister Arms at Malham in the Yorkshire Dales, three years after having to curtail a previous visit because of storms hitting the area.

It was a much more clement day when we arrived and we took advantage and walked to the Cove and Janet's Foss during the afternoon. What is noticeable is how dry the area is, the waterfall at Janet's Foss is all but a trickle.

The main picture is the footpath as it enters the southern end of Janet's Foss with the extras of views towards Malham Cove and Gordale Scar. We hope to be able to visit a few of the highlights of the Dales over the next few days.
