Two little birds

On the right is the one that I bought in Faversham antiques market/brocante that fell out of the car and broke within an hour. It’s been mended the best we can as a collaborative effort. I tried adding gold to the repairs in Kintsugi style but it looked wrong. On the left is a little mate I found an eBay.

Our shed is in much the same state, patched up and stuck together. All the structural work is completed thanks to Martin. We have potential for another covered seating area once Alice and I have painted the shed to unify the different woods used to make repairs.

The next project for the garden will be a wood store made up from pieces of wood we have salvaged or had left over from previous jobs.
