Mother's day is coming...

And this morning I was thrilled to see this little mother playing with two kits in our yard.

She obviously knew I was watching, and headed into the woods to make her kits safer.

She has built a den under the stairway to our lake, and I hope they stay there until the kits are self-sufficient.
