In between the tv coverage of this special day, I spent time in the garden, tidying and appreciating.

Different light. A different aspect of the stunning Welsh Poppy.

Much cooler. Less tempted to squander time cherishing the sunshine. I’ve even cleaned the kitchen floor.

Extra - when I’ve clipped and enjoyed the Lidl three types of lettuce in one, (which I keep in water), I pop the root part in a pot. I think this one will give some more…..
