A quick drink in the Marais

Comptoir des Archives in the Marais is a well known place for a coffee or a quick drink.

This afternoon, we choose the quick drink, although it was a Pastsis and a Rose, not the champagne that was so tempting, and just in front of where we were sitting.

Note the busy Paris traffic!!!

The first week of August and the streets are deserted and half the sharps shut. Still we find this quite refreshing in many ways as you have a lot of city to yourself for a change
