Foggy Bottom Sculpture

Today was Opera day: we usually get to the Kennedy Center ahead of time, take a walk through the Foggy Bottom neighborhood, and have lunch at Roti.... Roti is permanently closed, so we walked back to the Kennedy Center and had lunch at the cafeteria.  Glad we walk because I spotted this sculpture - in the extra the explanation.  We saw a couple more in our walk, but this one was the one that stand out to me.

While driving down to the KC, we were wondering if the orange cheetos, now that is the President of the board had made any changes... maybe some gold sprinkles?  So far, it seems the same, even though quite a few shows cancelled their performances.

We saw 'The Revolution of Steve Jobs' a modern opera, and we both enjoyed it: it is short - 90 minutes - but was well done and all the singers were very good.

Thanks for stopping by!
