My front stoop view

I get lovely sunshine in the morning if I bring my sitting pillow and sit down at the door opening. I have music, a book and coffee. The tree on the left of the walk is some sort of sumac and the bushes to the right are the chokecherries. In front are currents and more roses. I did some more bed clean up and dug up some grass next to the sidewalk and uncovered some nice rocks that are now lined up. I'm planning on some annuals like marigolds and moss roses in that space on the right.
Now it's clouded up and the wind is howling. We're supposed to get a couple of rainy days.
Last night Mom and I went to the best concert. The opener was a local band that I love and were great to listen to. The main act was the all female band called Big Richard. They said on the poster that they were a blue grass band but they certainly weren't traditional. They were spunky, witty and so incredibly good plus they had a cello player who was amazing, well they all were.... I'm a serious fan now.
