A day early

A day on Liverpool with Charlotte for the university offer holder day. She’s already put it as her first choice but it was a chance to look at some more accommodation. The History Department talk was really interesting, it’s all set up so much better than 30 plus years ago. There is much more emphasis on the massive jump from 6th form.

We had a bus trip out to Greenbank Student village, all changed and in beautiful grounds, she just needs to weigh up where she wants to be.

Rather than walk into town, we decided to drive up to Anfield ahead of the big day of football tomorrow.

We went in the club shop and did a tour of some of the murals around the local area. This is the new one, a bit previous but it’s going to happen. There were plenty of other fans about, a lovely atmosphere and I’m so glad we went. It’s my spiritual home and this sounds daft but I felt so chilled out being there.
