RFK Jr — the regime’s appointed head of health services as well as the host to a brain worm — announced his support for a plan to eliminate the naloxone distribution program. Naloxone is a drug that reverses the effects of opiate overdoses and the program slated for elimination hands that drug out for free to anyone - no questions asked. Its use has contributed to a 24% drop in the death rate from opiate ODs. Considering that about 100,000 people die of overdoses, that drug is estimated to have saved about 24,000 lives. And the total cost of the program is $56 million/year (the cost of secret service protection for Dear Leader when he takes one golf trip to his retreat in Florida…)
Given that the regime campaigned on its opposition to fentanyl (or is it only the debunked idea that fentanyl is imported by the “hordes”’ of illegal aliens?) and that RFK Jr himself spent his uni years dopped out of his skull, you’d think this would be the last program to be eliminated… But once again, that action carries a judgement of worthiness: what exactly is the value of an addict in the eyes of the regime?…
On a side note, here’s a verbatim exchange on a national TV Interview between Dear Leader and a reporter:
Reporter: “Do you believe that as president you have an obligation to uphold the Constitution?”
Trump: “I don’t know. It depends on what you mean by uphold.”
Just to be clear, the oath an incoming president takes during his inauguration ceremony (with a hand on a bible for whatever that’s worth) specifically includes these words: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
