Bee approaching bluebell
We had a lovely walk at RSPB Loch Lomond this morning. Bright and sunny but still quite chilly. Lots of wildflowers blooming: bluebells, cuckoo flower and greater stitchwort which is a favourite of the orange tip butterfly which were also flitting about. We saw lots of warblers from the boardwalk flying around and perching in the reedbeds and heard blackcaps and chiffchaffs in the woods. A very enjoyable visit and unusually getting quite busy when we left at 11am.
I liked the bee photo the best but have put in a couple of extras as I’ve never knowingly seen a Sedge Warbler before so wanted to pop it on for my records and also the greater stitchwort for the Wildflower challenge, thanks Miranda.
