Solomon's Seal

Cathleen bought one of these at a Strachur House garden sale last year and it is now flowering.

I was intrigued by the name and apparently the root has mark on it that looks like a seal, plus the plant  was used medicinally to "seal" wounds and bruises with a folk belief that it had been used by the wise King Solomon himself.
