Amongst the Banksias

This is my last day in Canberra for this visit, and I returned to the Botanic Gardens to indulge my love of Banksias.

The Australian federal election was decided last night. The incumbent Labor Party won very convincingly. I’d like to think this was an assertion that Australians value kindness and integrity and reject division and hatefulness. Just hoping!
