Work work work
I had Pilates first thing and then stopped off at the garden centre for a few filler plants and fell for a lovely azalea bush in coral pink that I’m going to pot up and cherish. So much for my ‘fewer pots now’ plan. But it was so beautiful and not expensive from the small family run nursery where I try to buy plants.
Hannah and Alexander arrived by lunchtime and we sat down to some asparagus soup made from the Felicity Cloake recipe in the Guardian. They went off for a nap but as you can see I soon had them up and working. Chris came over to help do various things but mainly to lighten the mood!
I kept going with garden tidying and but let’s face it, it’s going to be a bit rustic. The weather is changing sadly so it isn’t going to be warm on Monday but at least it will be dry!
