View from 18th floor
Mrs Tsuken had organised the four of us to get from Springwood to the Sydney Domestic Airport to travel to Gold Coast where Tsuken and I are attending the College Annual Congress. Train to central city then another train to the airport. It meant an early start.
We got to the railway station with time to spare before the train came. The stationmaster saw us and came out of his office to tell us that the train had been cancelled. When he heard that we had to get to the airport, he worked hard, and organised a taxi into which we four and our luggage squeezed and were taken to Departures.
What had first seemed a disaster turned into having time to spare. Breakfast and then reading before a stress free trip to Gold Coast. For S and me there was one more surprise. Somehow or other we were allocated two of the eight premium economy seats, which meant ample leg room.
We are staying in an apartment in the Qube tower block; the Tsukens are even higher up than we are on floor 18.
Before going out for a meal, I was drawn to a low light view from one of the windows in our room.
