Xterra Weston Park

I'd noticed that an off road series of Triathlons were being held at Weston Park over the weekend so popped down this morning to watch and photograph. 

The conditions were great and I quickly realised that it was a high calibre event with many academy (junior) British Triathletes taking part in the sprint event in the morning. This young lady was one of them and she has now qualified for the Xterra World Championships in her age group later this year.

I caught up with an ex-work colleague while walking around the park and also bumped into the operations manager for the estate who was acting as liaison for the organisers over the weekend. She had some amazing news, though sadly it means she will be leaving her role shortly. However, I doubt anyone would turn down an offer to do the same role for the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
