As I said yesterday, I visited one of the venues for the local art trail today.  I know of Hope (seen here on the right of the photo), an amazing photographer through a local photography group that I follow.  We haven't met before though, so it was lovely to meet :)
 
The venue itself was very busy indeed by the time I arrived.  I visited a lovely quiet studio, but trying to stand back to view a large painting was difficult there due to the number of people.  Then I spent some time looking at some lovely 'fold out' botanical paintings, an idea I'm keen to try to do myself and finally looking at some rather lovely blown glass lamps and beautiful shades.
 
Anyway, back to my blip - the photograph I really loved is the one on the top right, which is a view of Lode Mill, part of Anglesey Abbey.  I thought the white building looked familiar :)
 
I bought some of Hope's cards, one of which will be sent to my StepMum for her birthday later in the week :)
 
I hope to visit another venue on Monday :)
 
In the extra is my wonderful Cistus, so many flowers now.  I hope they won't stop due to a cooler weather forecast.
 
This afternoon I have really relaxed and just lay around reading whilst waiting for a delivery.  Why is it the driver bangs the door, waits til you answer and takes a photograph of you on the doorstep before they leave...
 
After that I realised I was extremely tired (too many 4.30am wake ups and unable to get back to sleep:() and went to bed.  I sent the alarm for 30 minutes sleep - woke up over 2 hours later....so it will be a late night now.
 
Roasted sea bass and mixed vegetables for dinner :)
