Silly fun

Started work early.  Packed at lunchtime.  Managed to get to the hotel in good time to eat a quick sandwich and then walk to the theatre. We set off just as it started to rain.  We thought it might be a short shower but it turned into a thunderstorm with heavy rain.  We got quite wet and ended up sheltering under a bridge until the rain eased a bit.  Went to a pub to dry off - I did balletic leg raises under the hand dryer in the loo to try and dry my jeans. S realised he'd lost one of his new hearing aids on the way to the theatre. It was probably when we were faffing about with cagoules in the rain.  He was gutted as he's only had them a week.  
The play was fun but did descend into pantomime at the end.  
We used our torch on the walk back to try and find the missing hearing aid. No luck but we did spot a beautiful toad and a lot of snails.
