Peninsula Light

Rather large, and probably about to "pup" Common Seal on a shingle bank near the mouth of the River Ness, and viewed from the Kessock Bridge. Less noticeable and closer is a Greylag Goose sitting on some seaweed. Unusual to see one here, and a solitary one at this time of year. Perhaps it was unwell.

Took a bigger lens to work today to try and get a few better pictures of the Orchid Blipped yesterday. Also snapped a much paler variety by the North Kessock to A9 junction, and much later, the four wee ones in the lawn of the back garden.
