Airborne Dipper …

… above the waterfall on the Gryonne river. I counted at least six of these beautiful little birds in the bed of the river at different places today. We are very lucky with our walk and escaped the rain which has been coming and going and storming all day.

The weather has meant that I got a lot of inside jobs done that I’ve been putting off and in the late evening, some relatively easy weeding after the rain. Then I started catching up on journals, still a long way to go tomorrow, another wet day!
