Discharged

Taken on the way home from Leicester General Hospital while waiting at some traffic lights on the A607. Bluebells going, cow parsley coming.

Len and I waited ages in the X-ray department. I thought to ask a technician when he came through how long we would have to wait. He said he was responsible for CT scans but he would ask the X-ray team. Almost immediately we, because there were six of us waiting, were being called through. Because of that wait, I missed seeing the consultant. The registrar looked at the X-ray, compared it with the previous ones and decided to discharge me. The main thing is that there has been no slippage of the prosthesis. I did persuade him to refer me to physiotherapy as I am so frustrated by my lack of mobility.

Len and I drove to Sainsbury's hoping for lunch but the café was closed. We did some shopping and drove home. We were parched. Basil seemed OK after his stay with Helen.

The most disappointing issue was that I was forced to miss singing with Charnwood Voices at Southwell Minster. Photos showed them singing there. They had a good audience.
