Don't tell him, Pike!

It's the 'Classic Comedy' weekend on the railway this weekend and there were scenes  being re-enacted from both 'Dad's Army' and 'Hi-De-Hi' at Weybourne, both of which had some scenes filmed on the railway some years ago.  I also spotted the occasional character from "'Allo 'Allo" wandering around the station, where most of the entertainment was taking place.

We had intended to get the to train Weybourne and stay there to watch the shows for a while.  When we left the house it was cooler than yesterday but the sun was starting to come out and it felt as though it was going to warm up.  Sadly, by the time we got to Weybourne it had gone the other way; really quite cold with a breeze getting up, so neither of us was properly dressed for the weather.  We weren't the only ones!  After a short while we ended up getting the train on to Sheringham where we got a small amount of shopping before heading back on the train to Holt and a nice warm house.

Lots of silliness going on at Weybourne, of course, and we were rather silly not being dressed for the weather.  Sounds about right for Silly Saturday.
