Lidl shop in the morning, got myself a hydrangea as planned.

In the afternoon we went out for some food with the fam. We wandered down a bit early and had a pint on the harbourside in the sun (it was packed). Stace, Wendy and Norah appeared and we all walked along to the Cottage. Thankfully Si managed to join us in time to order some food.

Norah was on great form, lots of colouring and sticking stickers on Uncle Matt’s face. She’s so chatty now. She kept asking to go back outside to the river, or as she called it initially, “the big bath”. Adorable.

Nice little sunny walk around Underfall Yard after food, and we saw a very distant hot air “bloon” which he had to stand and wave at for a while.

On the walk home we chanced a detour to Swoon even though it was later than they’re usually open, and it paid off - cherry cheesecake gelato… absolutely top tier (extras).
