Flower arranging demo

Went to my gardening club this morning, where, in addition to looking at a member's lovely garden created on a steep slope and full of shrubs, flowers and clever design ideas, we were given a talk and demonstration on flower arranging. The demonstrator, an amazing woman who had trained originally in Zimbabwe, created three very different displays in about an hour, using foliage and flowers mainly from local gardens. I quite like the idea of using seasonal plants and loved the colour of the luscious blackberries mixed with the rosy apples she used in one of her creations.
