Clematis

A beautiful 'Montana Reubens' covering most of a pretty old cottage which I saw on my way to dropping Mr HB off at the Dentist to have a check up on his tooth extraction of a couple of weeks' ago. Glad to say that all was well.  

It has been a very pleasant day although somewhat cooler than yesterday. For Mr HB it seems there is one step forward, then 2 steps back for his recovery from the dreaded Shingles. Probably did too much yesterday, so he's paying for it today.  

Apart from doing the usual daily chores and shopping I did spend a little time at my favourite family run plant nursery just outside Eccleshall, sat in a secluded spot with coffee and cake and then trawled the wonderful display of healthy plants and brought one or two home with me
