Holly Blue

It's been around for a time but never wanted to settle as I think the blossom wasn't quite open enough. Great to see outside our back door.

I've been to the gym this morning then walked round Ripple Lake where the damsels were still emerging.

I needed to walk Millie later in the afternoon as it was cooler and took her to Tewkesbury canal and I think honestly my head was in another place. The purpose of the walk was to see if the dragons were emerging but a quarter of the way round I saw the shot I had been wanting in quite a few years and had been looking for for the past couple of weeks. No card in camera. Seriously It was a disaster though I continued the dog walk just chuntering to myself that I needed to concentrate more on things I had control over which is a complete understatement as I was pretty mad. 

The BONUS if it is a bonus  is my Extra flying Hairy dragon. I put Millie in the car trotted at a pace and I tried to find it andI did a drum roll on the desk top for this Extra! Oh YES  and maybe it should have been my blip as it is actually what I wanted to see but in all honestly it's been cropped a lot and edited to death and more of a record shot! :)
