Alone

Some people were out late last night. Some people had a lie in.

I didn't have time so I headed into the office.

Day two of our training programme and it seemed to go well.

Young padawan was preoccupied today, which didn't help her mood.

I was staying in Birmingham for another night as I had a meeting with National Highways tomorrow. So it was all on my lonesome tonight.

My foot is now swollen and it was a struggle to get around. I had to grit my teeth.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Day two of our training programme going well
2.  A night of reading
